2023 Analytics Engineering - Summer Internship

Virtual, Washington, United States | Analytics Engineering | Full-time | Fully remote

Apply

Seeq is searching for a summer intern in the Analytics Engineering team to play a critical role in the growth of the company as it serves process industries. In fact, we are seeking 'superstars' in their fields. In our internal parlance, Industrial Process Analytics Engineers are experts in the use of our tools and work with customers in helping them to solve problems using our tools. Our customers are within industrial process segments that collect and use large amounts of sensor data like oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, chemical, energy, power, and food processing.

Analytics Engineering is a critical role and our intern candidates are expected to continuously learn, grow, and contribute for the duration of the internship. Various tasks and responsibilities will include analyzing customer needs, prototyping custom solutions including creating and deploying complex analyses/dashboards based on need as well as assisting with training and support functions. Our customers are using Seeq in almost every industry vertical (Oil and Gas, Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Chemicals, Food & Bev) and we will try to align the interests of our interns with the customers that they will work with to maximize value and learning for both our customers and our interns.

Analytics Engineering interns need to have an appetite for learning and a basic understanding of process engineering as well as an understanding of how to analyze data in a computer environment (some experience in Seeq preferred). Ultimately, we are about helping our customers drive down costs in energy, food, medicines, and other consumable products to make the world a better place.
